Official opening of HR shared service center central office for the companies of “Samruk-Kazyna” Fund (hereafter – HR Qyzmet) was held on 21st of September 2017. CEO of the Fund and portfolio companies of “Samruk-Kazyna” participated in the event.
HR Qyzmet is an organization, where routine processes of HR administration, payroll, perquisites, talent development, recruiting, HR assessment and support of non-residents are centralized and provided remotely. HR Qyzmet is based in Corporate University “Samruk-Kazyna” and has no analogues in Kazakhstan and Central Asia by the scale and number of served companies. “Leading companies in the world implement Shared Service Center model in their business. Project team analyzed international practices and developed operational model of the center, which allowed productivity growth by 30% on certain services. We expect this indicator to double in the period of full functioning of the center. At the same time the decrease of expenditures for HR-services will be no less than 20% due to effective organization of work, automation and centralization of the function” – explained Ulan Tazhibayev, Managing Director of HR and communications, member of Board of Directors of JSC “Samruk-Kazyna”.
HR Qyzmet is functioning since first of January 2017 and currently providing services to SWF “Samruk-Kazyna”, JSC NC “KazMunaiGas”, Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP, Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP, JSC Real Estate Fund “Samruk-Kazyna” and Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery. By the end of 2017 it is planned to launch call-center and implement SMS notification service for employees. In the middle of 2018 four companies of “KazMunaiGas”, will shift on service of HR Qyzmet. In total by the end of 2018, more than thirty thousand employees of Fund’s group will be using services of HR Qyzmet on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Implementation of shared service center is a part of Fund Transformation Programme particularly large-scale transformation of HR-function. The advantage of HR Qyzmet implementation is in significant increase of HR-processes effectiveness and quality growth due to unification and standardization of repetitive routine process.
